Open Standards

The Teleframe® Voice Application Platform features an open, standards-based architecture that couples best-of-breed technologies such as voice gateways, automated speech recognition and text-to-speech with best-in-class software, tools and components for managing voice applications, deployments, and infrastructure. The Teleframe® Voice Application Platform enables companies to move to next-generation standards and technologies while preserving the ability to migrate existing legacy IVR systems. Building upon a multi-tier component-based J2EE architecture, the Teleframe® Voice Application Platform has been designed using industry standards such as VoiceXML, CCMXL and SALT running on standard operating systems, such as MS-Windows and Linux.

No Vendor Lock-In

While many voice application vendors claim to be open, often times their solutions will lock you to a specific framework by using custom libraries or components that cannot be moved. Diagenix has taken a different approach—we have developed the Teleframe® Voice Application Platform so that our voice applications remain independent from the underlying vendor-specific implementations. This means that Teleframe® voice applications can easily be moved to new systems, technologies, and back-ends without having to re-write all of the application code.

The Teleframe® Voice Application Platform makes using and integrating third-party technologies easy without having to worry about embedding any third-party dependencies into your applications. Common integration points have been abstracted through a dynamic component architecture that makes adding or changing technology types, data sources, or applications as simple as plugging in the new functionality. Rounding out those capabilities is native support for advanced back-end integration using the Teleframe® Service Integrator middleware system. Teleframe® Voice Application Platform lets you reduce the total cost of ownership of your voice applications while maintaining the ability to leverage existing web technology investments for deployments of 8 to 1,000 ports or more.
